The five founders of FORT Architects met while attending school at the University of Cincinnati. We have all been working at different firms since 2010 in multiple cities throughout the country. We have decided to join forces and put our combined 50 years of experience together to create beautiful design for a multitude of different clientele. Nick Schoeppner

PRINCIPAL, chicago

Nick manages the Chicago office and is the Education and Athletic specialist. He also has experience with Residential projects within the Chicago area.

David Burwinkel

PRINCIPAL, cincinnati

Dave manages the Cincinnati office and is the Residential specialist. He has transformed several houses in the Cincinnati area from run-down to high-end, increasing resale value two-fold.

Steve Dober

PRINCIPAL, columbus

Steve manages the Columbus office and is the Retail specialist in the firm.

John Tunningley

principal, Cincinnati

John co-manages the Cincinnati office and is our client specialist. He has his hands in every sector of architecture we work on and ensures our clients receive the care and attention to detail they all deserve.

Megan Burwinkel

principal, INTERIOR DESIGNER

Megan heads the interior design department and has a fantastic eye for detail that pulls any space together. She has her hand in every design that comes through our offices.
